I'd like to invite your game to our annual Game Development World Championship! This is one of the many Breakout-clones I have played, but I liked the basketball theme - it's always nice to have a coherent theme instead of just abstract blocks or random imagery. I also liked the less usual backup wall feature instead of the more usual three lives.
The physics could use some more work - sometimes the ball moves very slowly, but other times it can get so much acceleration from the paddle that it'll end your game. It's a nice idea that you can speed up the ball with the paddle, though.
